Your chat, one click closer
Use the CodeEQ green star in your browser to bring the current conversation link into your AI logbook. Choose the session and save.
For desktop Chrome and Edge. This release uses manual installation and is not yet listed in their extension stores.
Install once
- Download the ZIP above and extract it to a folder you will keep.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome, oredge://extensionsin Edge. - Turn on Developer mode. Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing
manifest.json. - Open your browser’s Extensions menu and pin CodeEQ — Save chat link.
Save a conversation
- Open the actual conversation on your AI platform.
- Click the green CodeEQ star in your browser toolbar. Add a short label if you want.
- Choose Continue to CodeEQ. Sign in if needed, select the recorded session, then choose Save chat link.
- Later, search your logbook by topic or platform and click the session’s green star to return.
The AI platform may require you to sign in. A deleted or temporary conversation may not reopen. Use the conversation’s normal address; you do not need to create a public sharing link.
What is saved?
Only the conversation URL and the label you choose. CodeEQ saves them to your account when you confirm the session. The extension does not read chat messages, page titles, passwords, cookies, or your browsing history. It does not run in the background.
The handoff is kept temporarily in the CodeEQ tab so you can sign in or refresh. Saving or cancelling clears it. You can edit or remove the saved link from your session note.
Updates and removal
For a new release, download and extract the new package, then load that folder in your browser’s Extensions page. To uninstall, choose Remove beside CodeEQ on that page. Existing saved links remain in your logbook.
