You choose when recording starts and ends. CodeEQ records the interval without reading your conversations.
What a CodeEQ record shows
Your requested session start and end, the calculated interval, and the integrity of the stored record. Document checks show the current status and integrity of a prepared document.
What it does not verify
A recorded interval does not prove continuous activity, platform identity, authorship, productivity, work performed, or quality. CodeEQ does not review prompts or responses or detect plagiarism.
How it works
- Use My AI use to start and close a session at your request.
- Use My AI logbook to find sessions, add optional labels and chat links, and request documents.
- Use Document check to check a shared document against its stored record.
Private review letters are prepared on request after the required record checks.
Privacy
CodeEQ does not read or store your prompts, responses, or conversation transcripts. You can choose to save a short session label and a chat link. Public document lookup does not expose your name, private session history, labels, or chat links.
The optional browser extension captures the current page link only when you request it. You review the link and choose a session before saving.

To return to a saved conversation, select its green star in your logbook. The AI platform may require you to sign in to the account that owns the chat.
